A month of effective response

In the first month of Aquarius aerial firefighting operations, the team made significant strides in managing fire challenges. Over 40 flight hours and 118 water drops were carried out to fight wildfires.

Our efforts were focused on two wildfires located north and east of Zaragoza and three additional fires near Morella, situated west of Castellon, north of Alicante, and within the Puebla San Miguel National Park. Water was drawn from various reservoirs, including the Mediterranean.

In addition to active firefighting, our commitment to operation excellence also included seven hours of pilot training, during which 3 - 4 scoop runs per hour were practiced. This underscores our steadfast commitment to enhancing our firefighting capabilities and ensuring we remain well-prepared to protect natural resources and respond to future fire challenges.
